A
major goal of mine is to help people explore and respect the
outdoors.
Over the years, I have logged hundreds of miles on foot
exploring, learning and absorbing nature.
Animal, environmental, and
outdoor organizations are extremly important to me. I have had the pleasure of
working with fantastic people over the years bringing awareness to a variety of
topics. A few years ago I worked with Karen Sussman, President of ISPMB
(International Society for the Protection of Mustangs and Burros) in a
relocation effort. We moved over 40 Mustangs from Arizona to South Dakota, the
move was a great success for the Mustang program.
My IT experience
consisted of managing project teams in the United States and India for clients
such as: Allied Signal, PACBell, NDC Health, and Arizona Department of
Transportation. I understand determination and hard work to accomplish a goal.
I bring over 25 years of exploring the outdoors and 17 years of
Information Technology (IT) experience to Adventure Crossing.
Most
recently, we were involved with creating a weekly video podcast for Best
Friends Animal Society. The weekly program gave viewers a look at daily
life at their Sanctuary.
In June 2008, we are pleased to announce the
launch of two new divisions within Adventure Crossing, LLC. We are
launching Corner House Video and
Film The Family. We are already
filming for Corner House Video and look forward to moving forward with Film The
Family.
Things that keep me busy when I'm not working include: hiking,
backpacking, horseback riding, mountain biking, photography, traveling, being
outside, animal companionship (especially my horse, mule, and cats), and
meeting people.

My first
exposure to travel was riding back and forth across the United States in the
family station wagon. Gas was less than a dollar a gallon and no one had ever
heard of a child seat.
My parents are both
retired college professors who were fortunate enough to travel the western
United States on summer geography field trips. Their love for travel and their
knowledge of the physical world solidified my desire to explore and, most of
all, learn about what I was seeing.
My father-in-law is a
world class photographer who taught me how to set up a shot. He has also shown
me that anything is possible if you are willing to work for it.
To this day, nothing
makes me happier than heading out on a good road trip to explore the land.
Adventure Crossing has
allowed me to visit wonderful places. Nothing can compare with being out in the
fresh air and interacting with the world.
My sincere hope and
desire is that Adventure Crossing will help people to get out of doors and,
most importantly, be prepared so that they may truly be comfortable enough to
relax and absorb the experience.
